About
![]() Myrighteye Photography was started by Brian McDonough and began trading in 1997. A keen artist at school, Brian decided to study Photographic Technology at Manchester Metropolitan University. Brian's early career was spent in Manchester employed in specialist graphic reproduction companies. Darkroom processes, product photography, repro camera operation and drum scanning were part of the day to day routines. With a solid background in conventional film photography and graphic reproduction, Brian's career took a major change when he became involved with digital photography and digital reproduction as early as 1993, working with the first Leaf DCB (digital camera back) in the UK and operating high-end scanners and SCITEX equipment. Working in a digital environment with photography and graphics it was a logical step to learn Adobe Photoshop. In those early days it was Photoshop V.2.0 and was known only in trade circles. Brian mastered the use of the Software and its later releases, working on numerous advertising campaigns in Scotland. The decision to become self-employed was taken in 1997. Since then, drawing on his wealth of experience, Brian has worked on extremely varied commissions with commercial, corporate and social applications. Myrighteye now offers professional photographic and digital retouching services and welcomes dialogue regarding any serious commission. |
